We are seeking a Customs Traffic Supervisor for the IMPORTATION process **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree completed in International Trade or related field. * Intermediate-Advanced Excel proficiency is mandatory. * Conversational English proficiency. * Proven experience in a mid-level management role, leading work teams and possessing in-depth knowledge of import and export processes through customs agencies, including land, sea, and air operations. * Coordination with suppliers and customers regarding material imports and/or exports. * **Work Location: El Vigia I Industrial Park** Key Responsibilities * **Operations Management:** Supervise cargo loading, unloading, warehousing, and movement of goods at customs. * **Documentation Coordination:** Ensure documentation (customs entries, manifests) is accurate and submitted on time. * **Regulatory Compliance:** Verify that all operations comply with customs and tax legislation. * **Team Leadership:** Lead customs brokers, document processors, and other operators by delegating tasks and motivating the team. * **Time and Cost Control:** Optimize routes, assign vehicles, and monitor timelines to reduce expenses and meet delivery deadlines. * **Incident Management:** Handle and resolve issues such as delays, AAM (Administrative Procedures in Customs Matters), or discrepancies. Key Skills and Knowledge * Knowledge of customs procedures (land, sea, and air). * Proficiency in customs management software (e.g., CASA). * Leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. * Ability to work under pressure and with a strong sense of urgency.
