We seek a professional with solid knowledge of customs legislation, international logistics, and customs entry handling, who wishes to grow professionally in a dynamic and continuously learning environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance of our operations, supporting tariff classification, documentation validation, and monitoring of non-tariff regulations and restrictions. **Main Responsibilities** * **Legal Validation and Compliance:** Review that import and export processes comply with current customs legislation (Customs Law, Federal Tax Code, and General Foreign Trade Rules). * **Tariff Classification:** Support correct tariff classification of goods and determination of duties (IGI, VAT, Compensatory Quotas). * **Customs Entry Management:** Review, data entry, and control of import/export customs entries to ensure accurate application of data, INCOTERMS, and customs value. * **Logistics and Coordination:** Monitor logistics operations, coordinating with customs brokers, warehouses, and carriers to ensure timely flow of goods. * **Regulatory Updates:** Stay updated on changes in laws, international treaties (USMCA, etc.), and decrees affecting daily operations. * **Filing and Control:** Manage filing of customs documents (customs entries, invoices, transport documents) for proper retention and availability during audits. **Requirements** * **Education:** Graduate or student completing degree in International Trade, Logistics, International Relations, or Law (with specialization or focus on Customs). * **Experience:** Minimum 6 months to 1 year in similar positions (customs agencies, foreign trade departments of importing/exporting companies, or logistics firms). * **Essential Technical Knowledge:** * In-depth knowledge of the Customs Law and its Regulations. * Tariff classification (Harmonized System). * Interpretation of INCOTERMS (2020). * Handling of customs entries and related documentation (commercial invoice, bill of lading, air waybill, Carta Porte). * Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups). Monthly payments and all statutory benefits during a 3-month probation period. After the probation period, enhanced benefits: SGMM, sick leave days, performance bonuses starting at 3,000.
