**JOB DESCRIPTION** **Key Responsibilities:** * Architecture design: Build solutions based on Databricks Lakehouse, Delta Lake, MLflow, and Databricks SQL. * Technical consulting: Guide customers in adopting best practices for big data, machine learning, and analytics. * Project management: Oversee the delivery of secure and scalable cloud-based data platforms. * Optimization: Implement strategies for performance, governance, and cost efficiency (including CI/CD and DataOps). * Customer engagement: Serve as the primary technical contact, lead workshops and presentations. * Innovation: Evaluate emerging technologies and trends (GenAI, Unity Catalog, DLT). **Required Technical Skills:** * Advanced proficiency in Databricks: Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog, Workflows, SQL Warehouse. * Programming languages: Python, PySpark, SQL (Java/Scala preferred). * Cloud platform experience: Azure, AWS, or GCP. * Data engineering: ETL, pipelines, cluster optimization. * Security: RBAC, row- and column-level policies. * DevOps/DataOps: CI/CD using Databricks Asset Bundle or similar tools. **Soft Skills:** * Clear communication with both technical and business stakeholders. * Leadership within cross-functional teams. * Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions. * Results-oriented mindset with focus on return on investment (ROI). **Profile and Experience:** * 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles. * Solid experience with relational databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL. * Proven experience designing Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures using Databricks (mandatory). * Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark. * Familiarity with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, or similar). * Experience in cloud environments focused on data solutions. * Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices. * Knowledge of KIMBALL modeling, Data Vault 2.0, and operational databases. * Fintech sector experience or experience in industries handling large volumes of transactional data is desirable. * Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex data problems. * Certifications in related technologies (e.g., Databricks, AWS Data Analytics) are a plus.
