We are looking for an experienced **AI \& Backend Engineer** to lead the design and implementation of AI\-powered backend solutions. This role will focus on Large Language Model (LLM) integrations, Retrieval\-Augmented Generation (RAG) modeling, and complex system/API integrations. **Location: MEXICO** **Qualifications we are looking for:** * 4\+ years of backend engineering experience * Hands\-on experience integrating **LLMs into production environments** * Strong understanding of **RAG architectures**, embeddings, and vector databases * Experience designing and consuming REST APIs * Strong knowledge of Python, Node.js, or similar backend technologies * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) * Solid understanding of system design and scalable architectures * Experience working with distributed systems **Nice to Have:** * Experience integrating with **ServiceNow** or other Helpdesk platforms * Experience building AI\-powered automation tools * DevOps experience (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes) **Job duties:** * Design and implement backend services integrating **LLMs** (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, etc.) * Develop and optimize **RAG pipelines** (vector databases, embeddings, retrieval strategies) * Architect scalable backend solutions to support AI\-driven applications * Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems via REST/GraphQL APIs * Design and implement system\-to\-system integrations * Ensure performance, security, and reliability of AI\-powered services * Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate use cases into technical solutions * Maintain clean, testable, and production\-ready code **What you can expect from us** Here at Nexaminds, we're not your typical workplace.
