Job Description and Detailed Activities Protect employee health in a maquiladora environment through prevention, timely medical care, and compliance with applicable occupational safety and health regulations, ensuring plant operational continuity. **Primary Responsibilities:** * Provide primary and emergency medical care to employees within the plant. * Assess, diagnose, and follow up on work-related accidents, occupational illnesses, and general illnesses. * Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and special medical examinations according to maquiladora operational requirements. * Prepare and track IMSS forms (ST\-7, ST\-9\), medical leave certificates, and medical opinions. * Coordinate and supervise industrial nursing staff and first-aid teams. * Coordinate and supervise occupational health programs, ergonomics, work fatigue management, and disease prevention initiatives. * Ensure compliance with STPS regulations (e.g., NOM\-030, NOM\-035, NOM\-017, NOM\-019). * Actively participate in accident investigations, root cause analyses, and Safety and Hygiene Committees. * Maintain updated occupational health statistics. * Manage the medical clinic, pharmaceutical inventories, and medical equipment. * Support and participate in internal and external audits (STPS, customers, certifications). * Issue medical recommendations, work restrictions, and temporary reassignments as applicable. * Coordinate vaccination campaigns, as well as visual, auditory, and musculoskeletal health initiatives.
