BARISTA \- CAFÉ DEL ÁNGEL ABOUT US: Café del Ángel is a café\-terrace bar located in the Historic Center of Aguascalientes, committed to serving specialty coffee and quality beverages in a professional and respectful environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: \- Prepare specialty coffee beverages following recipes and established quality standards \- Operate and calibrate professional espresso machines (grind adjustment, dose, extraction time) \- Proficiency in milk steaming techniques and basic latte art \- Prepare cold beverages, infusions, teas, and seasonal drinks \- Customer service: order taking, payment processing, and service delivery \- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the bar, espresso machine, and utensils in accordance with health regulations (NOM\-251\-SSA1\-2009\) \- Manage inventory of bar supplies \- Label production with dates and implement FIFO (First In, First Out) system \- Assemble and present beverages according to establishment standards \- Coordinate with shift supervisors to ensure efficient service flow \- Record losses and report supply shortages ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: \- Minimum 1 year of verifiable barista experience in a specialty coffee shop \- Knowledge of brewing methods: espresso, V60, Chemex, French press, Aeropress \- Proficiency in milk steaming techniques and basic latte art \- Understanding of coffee profiles (origin, roast level, grind size) \- Point-of-sale system operation \- Ability to work under pressure during peak hours \- Full schedule availability (rotating shifts, weekends) \- Excellent personal presentation and customer interaction skills DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: \- Certified barista courses \- Basic mixology knowledge \- Basic English for tourist interaction WE OFFER: \- $330 pesos per day \- Equitably distributed collective tips among team members \- Complimentary beverage during shift \- Ongoing specialty coffee training \- Professional and respectful work environment \- Growth opportunities WORK SCHEDULE: \- 8 effective working hours \- 1 day off per week \- Rotating shifts: morning (8 AM \- 4 PM or 9 AM \- 5 PM) or evening (5 PM \- 1 AM) LOCATION: Venustiano Carranza 117, Historic Center, Aguascalientes Interested candidates should submit CV with verifiable employment references.
