**General Objective:** Perform activities related to donor candidate reception, sample collection, donor phlebotomy, and processing of immunohematology, brucella, and platelet apheresis procedures. **Job Responsibilities:** Reception and registration of donor candidates. * Collect samples from donor candidates * Extract (manually and/or automatically) blood components * Fractionate and store S. and C. units * Process, interpret, and report Hematological tests * Process, interpret, and report Immunohematology tests * Receive requests for blood and blood components * Select components for transfusion * Perform and interpret pre-transfusion tests * Deliver blood components for transfusion * Collect transfusion reaction reports * Accurately and completely record all activities, keeping them regularly updated * Participate in quality control of reagents, materials, and blood components * Participate in external quality control programs * Participate in daily and/or weekly maintenance of automated equipment * Proper use of work equipment. * Properly manage final disposal and biohazardous waste (RPBI) **Education:** Bachelor's degree / Engineering.
