NPD Quality Engineer

Job Summary: This role involves providing technical support and quality expertise to manufacturing plants, implementing quality processes, and acting as a liaison with central QA. Key Highlights: 1. Provide technical support and quality expertise to manufacturing plants. 2. Implement and improve quality processes at assigned plants. 3. Act as a liaison between the plants and the central QA department. **Overview:** Use Calibri 18 font here **Responsibilities:** Provide technical support and quality expertise to the Fixtures and Fittings plants. Implement and improve quality processes at assigned plants. Serve as a liaison between the plants and the QA central. **Requirements:** Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field. Experience in quality management in manufacturing environments. Knowledge of quality tools (SPC, FMEA, Control Plan etc.). Data analysis and problem\-solving skills. Communication and teamwork skills. **Certifications:** ASQ Certification or equivalent, and Six Sigma Green Belt are a plus At least 3 years in Engineering, Sourcing, or Quality related roles as a specialist in a discrete manufacturing environment (Fortune 500 Company is a plus). Team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources; experience working with others on a global basis is a plus. Analytical and problem solving skills \- communicates in a clear and succinct manner; effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions. Change oriented – knowledge of process improvement tools; confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balance multiple and competing objectives.
