At Swissport, we are guided by our core values—Show you care, Do the right thing, and Win as a team—and we are currently seeking dedicated individuals who align with these values to join our team in various locations around the world. **Job Summary** Carry out supervision and control of flight operations on the ground. **Your Responsibilities:** Flight Control* Send/receive/distribute operational messages according to prior agreements with the client. * Timely communication to operational and administrative departments, as well as external clients, regarding changes that may affect flight planning and resource allocation. * Monitor air-to-ground communications to provide timely and reliable information to flight crews. Flight Rostering / Slot Coordination* Prepare and update flight rosters, and distribute them to relevant operational and administrative departments. * Coordinate slots with the appropriate authorities in a timely manner to ensure landing, servicing, and takeoff occur according to schedules. * Monitor air-to-ground communications to provide timely and reliable information to flight crews. Weight and Balance Preparation* Perform weight and balance calculations reliably, following each client's procedures. * Implement last-minute changes and communicate updates to relevant departments. * File and store flight documentation according to company and client policies, respecting established timelines and formats. Flight Supervision * Plan flights based on received operational messages, and inform ramp personnel and other departments about required equipment and staff for service delivery. Pre-flight briefing to PIC.* Supervise aircraft loading and overall servicing to ensure safety and efficiency throughout the aircraft’s time on the ground until it departs for its next destination. * Verify that work procedures across various operational departments are executed according to client requirements. Flight Plan Coordination * Coordinate flight plans in a timely manner to ensure aircraft departure authorization as scheduled. * Store resulting documentation within established timeframes. ULD and Client Supplies Control* Maintain ULD inventory and submit reports at intervals specified by the client. * Maintain stationery and equipment inventories according to required minimums and maximums.
