Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our high-performance trailer manufacturing team.
In this role, you will participate in the final stage of the process, assembling mechanical, electrical, and functional systems onto completed composite-material chassis and platforms. Your work will be critical in transforming each fabricated structure into a complete, safe, functional, and operation-ready trailer.
You will work with axles, suspension, wheels, brakes, lights, couplings, fenders, wiring, and other mechanical components, ensuring every installation complies with technical specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for assembling real, functional, high-performance products.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble and install mechanical components such as axles, suspension, wheels, brakes, fenders, couplings, brackets, and auxiliary systems.
* Perform basic electrical system assembly, including lights, wiring, and 12 V DC connections.
* Align components and apply correct torque to fasteners, brackets, and fixings according to technical specifications.
* Route, secure, and protect electrical, hydraulic, and brake lines to ensure clean, safe, and functional assembly.
* Conduct functional tests on lights, brakes, suspension, and installed components.
* Verify that assemblies comply with drawings, checklists, quality standards, and safety requirements.
* Identify and report potential installation faults, interferences, damaged parts, or required adjustments.
* Collaborate with manufacturing, finishing, quality, and production teams to ensure smooth transitions between stages.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace, following company procedures.
* Assist in maneuvering, adjusting, and preparing trailers during final assembly.
Requirements
* Over 2 years of experience in mechanical assembly, mounting, mechanics, trailers, automotive, marine, heavy machinery, or similar industries.
* Ability to read mechanical drawings, assembly instructions, and checklists.
* Experience using hand and power tools.
* Basic or intermediate knowledge of fasteners, torque application, fixings, alignment, and mechanical assembly.
* Familiarity with axles, suspension, trailer hitches, brakes, and 12 V DC electrical systems.
* Strong mechanical aptitude, precision, and attention to detail.
* Physical capability to lift loads of approximately 23 kg and stand for extended periods.
* Commitment to safety, quality, and workplace order.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience assembling utility trailers, boat trailers, specialty vehicles, machinery, or mobile equipment.
* Knowledge of brake systems, suspension, automotive wiring, or basic hydraulics.
* Experience applying controlled torque using a torque wrench.
* Ability to operate forklifts.
* Experience conducting final functional tests.
* Eagerness to learn assembly processes for products made from composite materials.
We Also Seek Developing Talent
If you have an interest in mechanics, skill in using tools, and strong motivation to learn—but do not yet meet all the experience requirements—we may also evaluate your profile for a junior or apprentice position.
In such cases, you will receive training in mechanical assembly, tool usage, torque application, drawing interpretation, basic wiring, and checklists. Compensation will be determined based on your experience, current skills, and progress within the training program.
This opportunity may be ideal for individuals with basic experience in mechanical workshops, maintenance, production, assembly, blacksmithing, automotive, machinery, hand tools, or basic electricity.
What We Look For In You
We seek a responsible, meticulous individual with strong mechanical ability. Someone who understands that final assembly is a critical stage: every bolt, connection, line, and component must be installed correctly to ensure the trailer is safe, reliable, and fully functional.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, solving technical details, and contributing to the final manufacturing stage of innovative, durable trailers ready for operation.
