Opportunity to grow in the Queretaro Campus Job Description: The Wiring Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of all wiring and electrical interconnection activities within switchboards. This role ensures that wiring processes meet Schneider Electric standards, applicable IEC regulations, and customer requirements, while driving defect prevention, process robustness, and continuous improvement in a Safety First environment.**Key Responsibilities*** Wiring Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance of wiring activities (power, control, and auxiliary circuits) with Schneider Electric standards, electrical schematics, and applicable regulations. * Validate wiring installations according to electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, routing rules, labeling, and torque specifications. * Validate the correct installation of cables, terminals, lugs, ferrules, and accessories. * Monitor and improve wiring processes such as cable cutting, stripping, crimping, routing, bundling, termination, and fastening. * Verify proper implementation of control plans, work instructions, and quality checkpoints for wiring operations. * Identify quality risks related to wiring processes and implement preventive actions. * Support and validate electrical tests related to wiring (continuity, insulation resistance, functional checks). * Ensure traceability and proper documentation of wiring inspections and test results. * Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective actions for wiring\-related quality issues (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa). * Drive reduction of wiring defects such as miswiring, loose connections, incorrect routing, or labeling errors. * Contribute to Lean and Quality improvement initiatives aligned with Schneider Electric objectives. **Core Tools:** Assist in early deployment and use of Quality Core Tools during process design and launch:* FMEA (Process) Participate in FMEA development, updates, and risk reduction actions * Control Plans – Support creation and maintenance of control plans during ramp‑up * MSA – Assist with measurement system analysis activities and documentation * SPC – Support basic implementation and monitoring of statistical process control * Assist in defining quality KPIs and monitoring process stability during ramp‑up **What's in it for you?** Exposure and possibility to grow in the Queretaro Campus. **Who will you report to?** Report directly to the Quality Manager. This position will be working occasionally with corporate Quality positions as the Senior Managers and the ETO Quality Director. Additionally have strong collaboration with engineering, project managers and the operations teams. Qualifications: **What qualifications will make you successful for this role?** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field). 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Quality, preferably in switchboards, electrical panels, or metal\-mechanical environments. Strong ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and drawings, GD\&T basics, and BOMs. Knowledge of torque validations Experience with quality tools and problem\-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa). Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001\). Certification as internal auditor in ISO 9001, 14001, 45000, Six sigma is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Minitab and quality data analysis tools.
