Our products, present in a wide variety of fields, contribute to improving the quality of life of millions of people. **Job Description** **Position Objective:** Ensure efficiency and continuous improvement in production lines through process optimization, implementation and monitoring of improvement projects, and the necessary technical support to increase productivity, reduce waste, and guarantee compliance with the company's established standards for quality, safety, and performance. **Main Specific Responsibilities:** * Implement improvement activities in production processes to optimize efficiency and resource utilization. * Develop, implement, and monitor continuous improvement projects. * Apply, maintain, and promote the 5S methodology to ensure order, cleanliness, and discipline in the workplace. * Identify and propose improvement opportunities that contribute to productivity, quality, and operational safety. * Ensure compliance with the company's established quality, safety, and organization standards and procedures. * Actively collaborate with all departments in executing improvement actions and problem resolution. * Manage and organize assigned work activities, ensuring achievement of established objectives and deadlines. **Specific Tasks:** * Monitor and ensure the proper application of the 5S methodology, promoting order, cleanliness, and continuous improvement in the workplace. * Update and maintain current technical data sheets and safety data sheets (SDS) for chemicals used in the workshop. * Manage the registration, control, and proper storage of chemicals, verifying their safe use in accordance with internal procedures. * Coordinate the proper disposal of non-productive materials and waste. * Document, evaluate, and follow up on Kaizen ideas, encouraging staff participation and implementation of continuous improvement actions. * Design, adapt, and optimize work areas with an ergonomic focus, ensuring operator safety, efficiency, and comfort. * Participate in new projects related to process improvement and plant layout, including simulation of work areas (Mock Ups). * Administer and control assigned material resources, ensuring their efficient use. * Perform calculations and estimates of required resources for preparing quotations or improvement proposals. * Prepare activity reports, progress updates, and results, ensuring information traceability and effective communication with involved departments. * Develop projects using cutting and welding tools. **Requirements** **Position Profile:** Education: a) Minimum Education Level: Upper secondary education / general or technical high school diploma. b) Availability to work 8-hour rotating shifts. c) Years of experience: 3 to 5 years. **Experience Area:** * Proficiency in using manual, electric, and measuring tools. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Communication and interpersonal skills. * Ergonomic knowledge. * Ability to interpret workshop drawings, schematics, and layouts. * Applied geometry and measurement skills for project development. * Ability to perform technical conversions and calculations. **Additional Information** Bosch continuously expands its international presence, as cultural diversity represents one of our greatest strengths.
