If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary. **Job Summary** --------------- **Summary:** *To support our exceptional teams that create outstanding products and contribute to our growth, we are seeking to hire an Engineering Technician based in Aguascalientes.* *The Tooling Technician position within the Metal Fab Engineering department involves reviewing process parameters per work instructions to prevent product defects across all operations in the Insertion Line; generating reports, status updates, improvements, preventive actions, and corrective actions within the process — all aimed at improving cycle times, costs, automation, defect detection, measurements, etc., covering both software and hardware of inspection equipment. Deliverables include emails, tables, systems, records, and histories related to the aforementioned process.* **Daily Responsibilities:** * *Drive continuous improvement on the Insertion Line within the production process.* * *Conduct 5S audits on all inspection equipment and across the general area.* * *Promptly address and resolve general quality issues, including assessing impacts on the product.* * *Manage inspection equipment and measurement devices, particularly regarding calibration.* * *Follow up on unresolved issues and pending items from previous shifts, as well as provide status updates on issues arising during the current shift.* * *Support reading and interpreting Work Orders.* **Experience:** * *Knowledge of insertion lines (equipment, controls, daily issues)* * *Proficiency with measurement equipment, calipers, pressure gauges, etc.* * *People management experience* * *Knowledge of rework for insertion defects such as missing components, incorrect components, mispositioned components, reversed components, etc.* **Benefits:** * *Competitive salary* * *Life and medical insurance* * *Year-end bonus* * *Grocery vouchers* * *Savings fund* **Job Category** ---------------- Production Engineering Required Skills: Optional Skills: Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
