**Job Objective** Provide timely and safe pre-hospital care to patients in urgent/emergency situations, operating the ambulance and medical equipment, performing initial assessment, stabilization, and transport, while adhering to clinical protocols and road and public health safety regulations. ***Main Functions and Responsibilities*** * Drive the ambulance in compliance with traffic regulations, proper use of emergency codes, and defensive driving techniques. * Conduct primary and secondary patient assessment (ABCDE), identify life-threatening risks, and prioritize interventions. * Ensure **safe patient transport**: secure immobilization, appropriate positioning, continuous monitoring, and communication of clinical changes. * Prepare and maintain **clinical and operational records**: pre-hospital care form, unit logbook, inventory, and consumption records for supplies/medications. * Verify mechanical and operational conditions of the unit (checklist), report malfunctions, and manage fuel and supply replenishment. * Maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, and respectful treatment toward patients and their families. **Safety and Compliance Responsibilities** * Adhere to medical protocols, chain of command, triage procedures, and transport criteria. Drive safely, prioritizing the integrity of the patient, crew, and third parties. * Comply with applicable local regulations (health, traffic, civil protection, RPBI, privacy). **Experience** * 1–2 years in pre-hospital care and patient transport (preferred; adjustable depending on organization). **Knowledge and Skills** * Pre-hospital clinical assessment, trauma and medical emergency protocols. * Operation of pre-hospital medical equipment and radio/telecommunications systems. * Stress management, decision-making, effective communication, and teamwork. * Basic knowledge of preventive vehicle maintenance and unit checklists. **Working Conditions** * Shift-based role (including nights, weekends, and holidays), availability for on-call duties.
