**JOB PURPOSE**
Provide comprehensive, timely, and high-quality medical care to patients, ensuring compliance with clinical processes, health regulations, and institutional hospital policies, with a focus on patient safety and continuity of service.
Main Functions and Responsibilities:
* Conduct initial and ongoing medical assessments of patients according to established guidelines.
* Diagnose, treat, and follow up on first-contact pathologies and basic emergencies.
* Issue medical orders, prescriptions, diagnostic test requests, and referrals to appropriate levels of care.
* Prepare, update, and safeguard clinical records.
* Participate in internal protocols and preventive activities within the hospital unit.
* Coordinate with nursing staff, laboratory personnel, and other departments to ensure multidisciplinary care.
* Complete required hospital reports, administrative controls, and documentation.
* Maintain professional, ethical conduct aligned with institutional quality standards.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
* Degree and professional license as a Medical Surgeon (mandatory).
* Experience in primary care, outpatient clinics, and/or emergency services (preferred).
* Solid knowledge of applicable health regulations and clinical record management.
