By prioritizing employee growth and development, we enable each individual to reach their full potential on their own terms, because the best work happens when one is free to be themselves and share their unique experience. ### **What Will Your Contribution to the Team Be?** In your role, you will machine aluminum aerospace components with cycle times ranging from 1 to 6 hours, performing frequent model changes at your workstation. * Operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines. * Interpret 2D drawings of parts to be machined (general tolerances, precision tolerances, fits, and GD\&T). * Use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators). * Accurately complete reports and self-inspection checks for quality and production supervisors. * Perform preventive and predictive maintenance. * Carry out tooling and fixture changes for CNC machining; perform model change adjustments. * Reduce waste in production and transactional processes. * Support basic training of new technical assistants. ### **What Do You Need to Succeed in This Role? Skills, Knowledge, and Experience** * Minimum of 1\-2 years’ experience in a methods engineering/manufacturing/industrial environment. * Pursue continuous process improvement (implementation of poka\-yokes). * Demonstrate willingness and attitude toward implementing autonomous CNC maintenance. * Meet maintenance performance indicators. * Availability to rotate shifts. **Now that you can see yourself in this role, apply—and join the Bombardier family!** Note: It is not necessary to possess all the skills, knowledge, and experience listed for this position.
