




**Position:** Floor Sales Associate **Department:** Sales / Store **Location:** **Work Mode:** In-person **Reports To:** Store Supervisor / Sales Manager **Position Objective** Provide personalized customer service, advising customers on hardware, construction, and home improvement products. Drive sales through professional service and basic technical knowledge to deliver comprehensive solutions. **Key Responsibilities** * Assist and advise customers on the sales floor regarding products, tools, or materials. * Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products by comparing quality, application, and price. * Maintain the assigned area **organized, clean, and properly labeled**. * Conduct inventory counts, merchandise arrangement, and restocking. * Follow up on quotations and special orders. * Explain basic technical features of products (e.g., durability, applications, general installation). * Assist with light product loading when required. * Meet individual and team sales targets. * Report stock shortages, damaged items, or unusual product movements. * Adhere to customer service policies and store procedures. **Position Requirements** * Minimum 1–2 years of sales experience (preference given to candidates with experience in hardware stores, construction materials, paint, plumbing, or home improvement retail such as Home Depot). * Basic knowledge of tools, materials, measurements, product types, and their application in projects. * Strong verbal communication and customer service skills. * Ability to stand for extended periods. * Basic PC proficiency for inquiries and inventory management. * Availability to work weekends or rotating shifts. **Competencies and Skills** * Customer service orientation. * Clear communication. * Basic technical knowledge (materials and tools). * Teamwork. * Proactivity and service-minded attitude. * Organization and accountability. **We Offer** * Competitive base salary. * Sales commissions. * Statutory benefits. * Product and construction-line training. * Opportunities for internal advancement within the store.
