**WORKSHOP SUPERVISOR (AUTOMOTIVE WORKSHOP MANAGER)** * Minimum 3 years of experience * Age range: 25 to 45 years old * Education level: High school diploma **WORK SCHEDULE** * Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch break); Saturday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM **OBJECTIVES** ● Balance the workload among team members under supervision ● Optimize vehicle delivery turnaround times. ● Ensure achievement of departmental operational targets. ● Optimize utilization of resources allocated to the area. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Receive vehicles from the service advisor for subsequent assignment to technicians under supervision. * Coordinate and equitably assign workload among personnel under supervision. * Develop weekly and daily work plans for the area. * Supervise the work and activities of mechanics and mechanic assistants. * Provide diagnostics, supervise, and perform repairs. * Ensure diagnostics and repairs are accurate and complete, with no omissions. * Maintain a service log and record consumables used per service. * Supervise and ensure work areas remain clean and organized. * In-depth knowledge of automotive mechanics and electrical systems: engine, transmission, braking system, suspension system, wheel alignment, tires, etc. * Familiarity with components and tools used in vehicle repair and maintenance. * Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues. **WE OFFER** * Base weekly salary of $3,500 + commissions (Net weekly income ranging between $7,000 and $9,000, combining base salary and commissions) * Statutory benefits * Loans and salary advances Employment type: Full-time Relocation/commuting capability: * San Miguel de Cozumel, Quintana Roo: Ability to commute to work without difficulty or plan relocation prior to starting employment (Mandatory) Experience: * Workshop manager: 2 years (Mandatory) * Automotive mechanic: 4 years (Mandatory) Work location: On-site employment Employment type: Full-time Salary: $10,000.00 – $20,000.00 per month Relocation/commuting capability: * San Miguel de Cozumel, Quintana Roo: Ability to commute to work without difficulty or plan relocation prior to starting employment (Mandatory) Experience: * WORKSHOP MANAGER: 2 years (Mandatory) Work location: On-site employment
