




Job Summary: Coordinate and supervise the execution of quality inspection and control activities in production, ensuring compliance with specifications and internal procedures. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead and supervise the floor quality inspection team. 2. Ensure compliance with technical specifications and customer requirements. 3. Support internal and external audits, and promote continuous improvement. Job Objective Coordinate and ensure the proper execution of floor-level quality inspection and control activities in production, guaranteeing compliance with customer specifications, applicable standards, and Grupo Alsan’s internal procedures through direct supervision of the inspection team and timely handling of quality deviations. Main Responsibilities * Coordinate and supervise the floor quality inspection team. * Ensure correct application of inspection plans, acceptance and rejection criteria. * Verify compliance with technical specifications, drawings, and customer requirements. * Track non-conforming products, rework, and releases. * Document and follow up on corrective and preventive actions. * Record, analyze, and report quality indicators. * Support internal, external, and customer audits. * Coordinate inspections of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products. * Ensure proper use and control of measurement and calibration equipment. * Maintain constant communication with Production, Engineering, and Quality Management. * Promote adherence to procedures and operational discipline on the shop floor. Operational Duties * Assign and distribute daily inspection tasks to inspection personnel. * Validate and consolidate inspection reports. * Release products conforming to established criteria. * Identify failure trends and promptly communicate them to involved departments. * Train, evaluate, and provide feedback to assigned personnel. * Verify compliance with the Quality Management System on the shop floor. * Support implementation of improvements in inspection processes. Education * Industrial, Mechanical, Metallurgical Engineering or related field. *(Technician with proven experience may be considered.)* Experience * 2 to 4 years in Quality areas within metal-mechanical companies. * Experience in dimensional inspection and production processes. * Experience coordinating or leading operational staff (desirable). Technical Knowledge * Interpretation of drawings and technical specifications. * Dimensional tolerances. * Measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, etc.). * Non-conforming product control. * ISO 9001 standard. * Metal-mechanical processes. * Office software (Intermediate Excel).
