




Position Summary: Support store operations—including sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service—to ensure achievement of operational and commercial performance metrics. Key Highlights: 1. Provide floor-level operational support in the store by executing established AutoZone operational processes related to sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service—collaborating effectively to meet assigned store operational and commercial performance metrics. * Stock merchandise on the sales floor, in overflow areas, and in trucks, following applicable merchandising guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to classify merchandise, and participate in store opening/closing tasks as well as sales-floor cleaning activities—to achieve accurate product placement and optimal store presentation. * Provide customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and pricing—delivering excellent service reflected in successful point-of-sale transactions; also handle customer phone calls to resolve questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately perform cash register transactions—including cash and card payments—and process returns in full compliance with AutoZone’s cashier policy—to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction closure. * Completed high school education * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
