Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced cook for the evening shift, responsible for both hot and cold kitchen operations, ensuring quality, hygiene, and coordination. Key Highlights: 1. Hot kitchen experience: operating equipment and overseeing quality. 2. Cold kitchen experience: maintaining an organized station and ensuring freshness. 3. Collaboration with other shifts and stations to ensure continuous workflow. We are seeking a cook for the evening shift. Experience required in: Hot Kitchen * Operating griddle, waffle iron, toaster, and other hot equipment. * Overseeing quality, temperature, and presentation of hot dishes. * Coordinating with the cold kitchen to maintain continuous workflow. * Supervising the prep cook during their shift on assigned tasks. * Checking critical supplies and reporting shortages. * Keeping the station clean and organized throughout the shift. * Complying with hygiene and food handling standards. * Participating in basic production when no orders are pending. Cold Kitchen * Setting up and maintaining an organized cold station. * Ensuring freshness and quality of all cold items. * Restocking ingredients during service. * Coordinating with the hot kitchen regarding dish timing. * Checking cold station inventory and reporting shortages. * Following hygiene, temperature, and storage guidelines. * Keeping the cold station clean and orderly. * Washing, disinfecting, and cutting fruits and vegetables for all shifts. * Restocking ingredients at both stations before shift change. * Recording supply shortages under supervision of the hot kitchen cook. * Maintaining order in walk-in coolers, refrigerators, and prep areas. * Labeling prepared items with date and rotation information. * Providing brief support to either hot or cold kitchen during breaks.
