Job Title Senior Consultant / Principal Consultant in cybersecurity \- Paris or Lyon Who are we? EXCUBE – EX³ – Expertise Cybersécurité, Expertise Métier, Expertise technologique. Based in Lyon (headquarters) and Paris, founded in 2018, EXCUBE is the **independent consulting firm** dedicated to defining and implementing our clients' cybersecurity strategies. We support our clients through Consulting and Audit services across our three core offerings: * **Cyber Governance**: organizing the information security function through compliance or risk-based approaches; * **Cyber Defense**: defining and implementing SOC strategy; * **Cyber Resilience**: assessing and improving the ability to respond to cyber threats (from crisis management to business continuity). Our team of Auditors evaluates and validates control implementations across these three service lines through *penetration tests, purple team, red team*, or attack surface assessments. EXCUBE is expanding in France, particularly within its Lyon and Paris offices, and is seeking new talents to **positively impact the cybersecurity market and accelerate our growth.** Your key responsibilities**You will support our large corporate clients, mid-cap companies, and major SMEs on a fixed-fee basis**. With a focus on versatility, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects aligned with our areas of expertise. **Here are some examples of projects you may be involved in:** * Scoping a client’s SOC project and helping define the right trajectory regarding organizational SOC models, technical tools, and budgeting; * Supporting clients in selecting and optimizing their defensive toolkits (EDR, SIEM, SOAR, etc.); * Assisting an industrial sector client in scoping their NIS2 project and anticipating their NIS2 roadmap; * Supporting a CISO in the insurance sector in managing cyber risks within their information systems; * Defining the ISO 27001 certification strategy for a banking institution and leading the associated compliance program; * Organizing and conducting a cyber crisis exercise and providing recommendations to improve the client's crisis management framework; * Structuring business and IT continuity plans (BCP/ITCP) for an insurance mutual; * Assessing and enhancing clients’ detection strategies (MITRE ATT\&CK, *purple team, CTI, use cases*). *This list is not exhaustive*, *and we will share additional missions during future discussions.* **You will be expected to supervise and mentor less experienced Consultants**, contributing to strengthening the team’s collective expertise. You will also have the **opportunity to contribute to EXCUBE’s development** by engaging in internal expert initiatives to shape our strategic viewpoints, as well as participating in structural company initiatives such as *onboarding*, CSR, etc. Work locations: 55 avenue René Cassin 69009 LYON (Gorge de Loup metro station – Line D) or 52 boulevard de Sébastopol 75003 PARIS (Châtelet district). **You may also be required to work directly at our clients’ premises.** Compensation: **€50,000 to €70,000** (depending on experience). You have the following qualifications* You hold an **Engineering degree (or equivalent Master’s level qualification)**, ideally specialized in IT or information security. * You have **at least 4 years of experience** in **cybersecurity consulting** (specialist or generalist firms). * You are capable of **autonomously managing one or more consulting projects** from start to finish, including supervising less experienced Consultants. * You can **understand and write English**, including technical content (some missions may take place in international contexts). * **You leverage your cybersecurity expertise** to deliver tangible value to clients.
