Summary: Seeking an innovative, independent game developer to own development and maintenance, write code, design systems, and suggest mechanics on a small, high-ownership team. Highlights: 1. Engage in rigorous testing and experiment with AI for game experiences **About the Role** We are developing games that genuinely captivate and delight our audience. We seek a developer who can own the game development and ongoing maintenance process. You will be required to be innovative, use AI to assist with development, engage in rigorous testing, and be highly independent. You'll be a core member of a small, high\-ownership team. That means you'll write code, design systems, suggest mechanics, and occasionally argue (nicely) about whether a feature is actually fun. We care more about creative instinct and engineering judgment than years on a resume. This is a full\-time position based in Mexico (fully remote). Spanish and English communication skills required. **What You'll Do** * Design, build, and iterate on gameplay systems, mechanics, and features in Unity * Be comfortable developing and white\-labeling existing game templates * Excellent understanding of networking calls, which is required to integrate gameplay, leaderboards, and daily engagement reminders with a custom social media tracking system. Integrate AI tools and APIs to create smart, adaptive, or generative game experiences * Take concepts from idea to playable prototype quickly and tell us what feels fun or broken * Write clean and maintainable code * Actively participate in game design discussions, bring ideas, and challenge assumptions * Run playtests, gather feedback, and help iterate based on real player behavior * Keep up with emerging tools (AI, procedural gen, physics tricks) and apply them where they add real value. * Claude Code. **You'll Thrive Here If…** * **You think about fun.** * **You experiment with AI.** * **You test your own work.** * **You speak up.** **Technical Requirements** Core skills: * Unity (3\+ years) * C\# proficiency * Physics \& animation systems * UI/UX in Unity * Mobile \& Web builds * Version control (Git) Bonus points: * AI/ML integration (OpenAI, Claude Code, local models) * Procedural generation * Published games (any store) * Game jam experience * Analytics/playtesting tools **What We Offer** * **Competitive salary** \- Paid in USD. * **Fully remote** \- Work from anywhere in Mexico.
