




**Overview:** Use Calibri 18 font here **Responsibilities:** Develop and establish the methods, procedures, and operating parameters in each of the processes involved in the manufacturing of ceramic furniture. * Evaluate the performance of current production processes and use technical knowledge and tools to identify and implement performance improvement and cost reduction projects. * Implement process control with the objective of optimizing operations and improving performance by reducing waste and rework. * Use appropriate techniques to assess process capabilities, define necessary improvements, establish required work plans to control and predict outcomes, ensuring appropriate application of data analysis methodologies in each case. * Execute projects through the define, measure, analyze, improve, and control phases when required by case complexity, but also implement immediate improvement projects for proven solutions or implementation of Best Practices. * Participate in the development and introduction of new products and processes, as well as validate obtained results, assisting when required in the definition, development, and implementation of investment projects. * Support implementation of the environmental management system * Actively support compliance with the environmental management system policy * Accept and actively participate in the environmental management system process **Requirements:** **Education:** Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering **Experience:** a) 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering b) Experience in the ceramic industry or ceramic processes is desirable **Training:** a) Lean Manufacturing b) Statistical Process Control c) Six Sigma tools (certification desirable) d) Project (desirable) e) MiniTab f) Core Tools g) Advanced Excel h) PPAPS **Skills:** a) Collaborative b) Builds trust c) Committed d) Organized and orderly e) Problem-solving techniques **EEO Statement:** **Equal Employment Opportunity Statement:** AS Maquila México S. de R.L. de C.V. and American Standard B\&K México are equal opportunity employers.
