**AUTOMOTIVE AGENCY IN INTERLOMAS** **JOIN THE LEADING AUTOMOTIVE GROUP IN MEXICO** WE ARE SEEKING: **GENERAL ACCOUNTANT** **REQUIREMENTS** * Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (graduated or intern) * 3 years of experience in a similar position; automotive industry experience preferred * **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Prepare reports and financial statements reflecting income earned and other results, to ensure the accuracy of information. * Supervise that accounting operations across the agency’s different departments are correctly recorded in the system. * Supervise and analyze the preparation of financial and statistical reports required by the Brand, to ensure compliance with established guidelines. * Coordinate periodic cash counts for the General Cash Register and, as needed, for the Credit and Collections Department regarding documents and accounts receivable, to ensure reconciliation with balances and take appropriate action based on results. * Supervise timely and proper fulfillment of the agency’s tax and labor obligations, to avoid penalties (fines, surcharges, etc.). * Responsible for preparing monthly and annual federal tax returns, to comply with such obligations timely and properly. * Conduct physical inventory reviews to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. * Monitor loan maturity dates with financial institutions to verify monthly reconciliation of bank statements against accounting records. * Prepare financial statements and reports required by senior management. * Determine and pay the distributor’s tax and social security liabilities. * Control the distributor’s fixed assets and inventories. * Manage cash flow and working capital. * Supervise staff under your responsibility.
