We are a **textile sector trading company**, and we are seeking a **Junior Import Logistics Assistant** to support operational and documentary management of maritime and air imports, contributing to the continuity of the company’s supply chain. Job Objective Support tracking of international shipments, compilation of documentation, and communication with suppliers and logistics agents, ensuring order, control, and traceability in every import operation. Key Responsibilities * Track international purchase orders within the textile industry. * Coordinate and monitor maritime and air shipments. * Review and request basic import documentation: * Commercial invoice * Packing list * Bill of Lading (B/L) / Air Waybill (AWB) * Certificates of origin (when applicable) * Update shipment status in the system (NETSUITE). * Follow up with customs brokers for cargo release. * Verify received goods against documentation. * Compile and safeguard physical and digital files. * Assist in logistics cost control and coordination with Procurement, Warehouse, and Finance departments. Requirements * Technical degree or bachelor’s degree (in progress or completed) in: * International Trade * International Business * Logistics * 6 months to 1 year of experience in logistics, imports, or international trade. * Basic knowledge of: * Import processes * International trade documentation * Incoterms * ERP experience preferred (NetSuite, SAP, Odoo, or similar). * Basic English (reading emails and documents).
