Support system upgrades, enhancements, and integration projects \#ZCC Zurich capability center is looking for **SAP ABAP Developer** Experience: 5\+ Years Domain: Insurance Location: México City or Guadalajara hybrid **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with 5\+ years of hands\-on experience, preferably within the Insurance domain, to design, develop, and support SAP applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in ABAP development and a solid understanding of insurance business processes, contributing to high\-quality, scalable SAP solutions. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and enhance SAP ABAP programs including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF) * Develop and maintain ABAP Objects, ALV Reports, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms * Work closely with functional consultants to translate insurance business requirements into technical solutions * Support and enhance SAP modules relevant to insurance processes (e.g., FS\-CD, FS\-PM, FI, SD, or custom insurance solutions) * Develop and support interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and web services * Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and optimization * Follow SAP best practices and ensure compliance with development standards * Provide production support and resolve incidents related to ABAP developments * Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and integration projects **Required Skills \& Qualifications** * 5\+ years of SAP ABAP development experience **Strong expertise in:** * ABAP/4, ABAP Objects * Enhancements (User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Framework) * Data Dictionary (DDIC) * SAP Forms (Smart Forms, Adobe Forms) * Experience working in the Insurance domain (Life, P\&C, Health, or Reinsurance preferred**Knowledge of insurance business processes such as:** * Policy lifecycle * Premium processing * Claims management * Billing and collections * Experience with interfaces and integrations (IDoc, BAPI, RFC, Web Services) * Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and ABAP for HANA (AMDP, CDS views) is a plus * Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and debugging skills **Nice to Have** * Experience with SAP FSCM or Financial Services modules * Exposure to SAP Workflow and OData services * Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies * SAP ABAP or S/4HANA certification **Soft Skills** * Excellent communication and documentation skills * Ability to work collaboratively with cross\-functional teams * Strong sense of ownership and accountability * Adaptability to a fast\-paced, dynamic environment **Who we are** Looking for a challenging and inspiring work environment where you can make a difference?
