Job Summary: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on loading and unloading vehicles, including mechanical and electrical systems in diesel vehicles across various duty ranges. Key Highlights: 1. Performs maintenance on light-, medium-, and heavy-duty diesel vehicles. 2. Conducts basic diagnostics of electronic systems using Insite and Nexiq. 3. Knowledge of general mechanical systems in diesel vehicles. Objective: Perform maintenance on company assets and equipment (loading and unloading vehicles). Perform maintenance on diesel-powered vehicles across light-, medium-, and heavy-duty ranges. Duties and Responsibilities: - Performs minor maintenance on medium- and heavy-duty vehicle equipment from brands Kenworth and Mercedes. - Receives maintenance requests for various mechanical and electrical systems. - Performs minor maintenance on delivery units (trucks). - Conducts basic tests and diagnostics on electronic systems (Insite and Nexiq) in diesel vehicles. - Performs basic 12V and 24V electrical charging and starting tests on medium- and heavy-duty vehicle fleets. - Collaborates in inspecting maintenance requirements and service needs (preventive/corrective) to ensure optimal operation. - General knowledge of mechanical systems in diesel vehicles across light-, medium-, and heavy-duty ranges. - Interprets and downloads trip data from diesel vehicles using Inline, Insite, and Nexiq.
