





MAIN OBJECTIVE: The primary function of the General Helper is to operate the Storage Terminal facilities following technical, safety, and environmental procedures and standards in accordance with the Company's business plan. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Carry out loading and unloading operations of petroleum products using systems such as loading/unloading arms and others at the Storage Terminal, including inspection, startup, shutdown, and taking equipment out of service for maintenance during their shift; * Monitor and control operational variables of equipment, open and/or close valves according to established operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain assigned operations within performance standards; * Know and perform tasks associated with different operating modes of terminal facilities; * Perform pressurization, depressurization, inventorying, and de-inventorying activities on pipelines and equipment; * Carry out additive injection processes, oxygenate blending with gasoline, and diesel blending during product loading, maintaining control over petroleum product quality; * Adjust operational variables (temperature, pressure, vacuum, level, flow, and/or product transfer) to keep processes at required levels or correct issues; * Take samples to verify product quality, conduct control tests, record results, and note any problems; * Implement the Car Seal philosophy on manual valves at the terminal according to the established annual plan; * Perform assigned operations and record operational variable measurements from product loading and unloading equipment. Report equipment and valve malfunctions, as well as unusual trends or conditions, in the operational logbook and to their supervisor; * Use data loggers to collect real-time process information from various terminal equipment and processes, and report the data; * Perform all work in accordance with applicable safety procedures, using appropriate safety devices and equipment; * Participate in the development of operating procedures and work instructions; * Identify potential environmental risk scenarios arising from their activities, assess the likelihood of each scenario, and take action to prevent environmental damage; * Operate heavy machinery to carry out maneuvers in the rail yard; * Follow up on requirements of the Integrated Management System (IMS); * Attend scheduled and required training sessions for improved job performance; * May be required to report to work outside normal hours during emergencies or other extraordinary operational conditions at the terminal; * Participate in Emergency Response Team activities and support the Emergency Response Team Leader. REQUIREMENTS Education: Completed Technical or High School education. Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the industrial and/or chemical sector.
