**General Job Information**
**Position:** LED Lighting Sales Consultant
**Department:** Sales / Commercial
**Reports to:** Commercial Manager / Sales Director
**Location:** Mexico (based on regional assignment)
**Work Mode:** Field and office / hybrid
**Job Objective**
Develop, advise on, and close sales opportunities for **LED lighting solutions for industrial and commercial applications**, delivering technical-commercial consulting, identifying customer needs, and ensuring long-term business relationships.
**Functions and Responsibilities**
**Sales and Commercial Development**
* Prospect industrial, commercial, and construction clients (industrial warehouses, factories, distribution centers, retail stores, offices, shopping malls, etc.).
* Generate and manage leads through CRM.
* Conduct commercial visits and perform basic information gathering.
* Present technical-commercial proposals for LED solutions.
* Prepare quotations and follow up until closing.
* Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
**Technical Consulting**
* Advise customers on:
* Energy savings
* Return on investment (ROI)
* Replacement of traditional technologies with LED
* Explain product technical specifications:
* Power, lumens, color temperature, lifespan, IP rating, certifications.
* Coordinate with the technical or engineering team when required.
**Administrative Management and CRM**
* Record all activities in the CRM:
* Visits
* Calls
* Quotations
* Follow-ups
* Keep customer and opportunity information up to date.
* Prepare sales and progress reports.
**Follow-up and After-sales Service**
* Track orders, deliveries, and installations.
* Maintain post-sales business relationships.
* Identify opportunities for repeat purchases or project expansion.
**Job Requirements**
**Education**
* Technical degree or bachelor’s degree (engineering, architecture, administration, marketing, or related field).
* Preferred: Courses or certifications in lighting or energy efficiency.
**Experience**
* Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience.
* Preferred experience in:
* LED lighting
* Electrical materials
* Construction, industrial, or energy sectors.
**Technical Knowledge**
* LED lighting and industrial/commercial applications.
* Basic blueprint reading (preferred).
* Simple energy savings and ROI calculations.
* CRM usage (Odoo, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
* Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
**Competencies and Skills**
