Management of construction project accounting At **Tecnovidrio**, a sector-leading company, we are looking for a **Senior Accountant** with solid accounting and tax experience, strategic orientation, and team leadership capabilities to strengthen financial management and support executive decision-making. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead and supervise all accounting department activities: general accounting, cost accounting, project accounting, and tax accounting. * Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures, ensuring proper compliance. * Oversee the preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement) in accordance with Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and internal policies. * Analyze and interpret financial information to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing strategic recommendations to management. * Ensure compliance with federal and local tax obligations (Income Tax, VAT, etc.). * Coordinate and supervise internal and external audits. * Supervise cost control and analysis for construction projects, ensuring correct application of revenue and cost recognition methods, particularly in construction projects. * Manage long-term construction project accounting. * Lead, train, and develop the accounting team, fostering high performance. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency of financial information and support strategic decision-making. **Profile RequirementsAcademic Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in **Public Accounting** (degree holder with professional license). * A master’s degree or specialization in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or Internal Audit is desirable. **Professional Experience** * Minimum of **3 years** of experience in general accounting. * At least **2 years** leading or supervising accounting teams. * Experience in month-end closings, reconciliations, accounts payable, fixed assets, and taxes. * Experience in companies within the **construction or engineering sector** is desirable. **Technical Skills** * In-depth knowledge of accounting principles (NIF / IFRS or US GAAP). * Proficiency in Mexican tax legislation and SAT regulations. * Advanced proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. * Advanced Excel skills for financial and accounting analysis. * Extensive experience in construction cost accounting, long-term projects, construction materials inventory, and sector-specific tax regulations. **We Offer** * Competitive salary commensurate with experience. * Statutory benefits and above-standard benefits. * Job stability and opportunities for professional development. * Excellent work environment.
