Opportunity to develop operational control and incident management **Job Objective** Support the registration, monitoring, and control of distribution services, ensuring accurate information capture, operational tracking, and incident detection, as a foundation for future development into logistics planning functions. **Main Responsibilities** * Register services in the **TMS (Transportation Management System)**: * Trip creation * Cargo, customer, and destination data * Maintain up-to-date operational information in the system: * Trip status * Events (in transit, loading, delivery, completed) * Monitor service compliance: * Departures * Arrivals at loading/unloading * Deliveries * Conduct real-time tracking of vehicles and operators: * Phone contact / GPS (if applicable) * Location and progress validation * Record operational incidents: * Delays * Rejections * Deviations * Mechanical failures * Customer-related issues * Escalate incidents to Planner / Coordinator based on severity. * Validate service evidence: * POD (Proof of Delivery) * Delivery documentation * Photographic evidence (if applicable) * Assist in preparing basic operational reports: * Trip status * Appointment adherence * Daily incidents * Maintain constant communication with: * Operators * Control center * Monitoring team * Customer service * Support compliance with **SGC (ISO 9001:2015\)** requirements: * Complete records * Service traceability * Document control **Learning Functions (Training toward Planner role)** * Understand the actual operational flow of a logistics service, considering advance scheduling: * From registration to closure * Identify incident patterns and operational deviations * Understand the importance of: * Data quality * Traceability * Response time * Interpret basic KPIs: * Service compliance * Punctuality * Incidents per route / customer * Develop operational judgment for future decision-making **Required Profile** **Education:** * Final-semester student or recent graduate in: * Logistics Engineering * Business Management Engineering **Basic Knowledge:** * Excel (intermediate or advanced level) * Basic logistics knowledge preferred * Basic TMS system experience preferred **Skills:** * Attention to detail (key principle: “what is not in the system does not exist”) * Organization * Consistent follow-up * Clear communication * Stress tolerance * Proactivity **Competencies to be Developed** * Operational control * Logistics monitoring * Incident management * Information analysis * Discipline in recordkeeping **Performance Indicators (Initial KPIs)** * % of services correctly registered * Timely status updates * Event registration time * % of incidents correctly documented * Data entry error rate **Internal Relationships** * General Management * Operations Management * Logistics Planner / Coordinator * Control center * Operators and authorized carriers Job Type: Apprenticeship Salary: $3,500\.00 \- $3,600\.00 per month Benefits: * Salary increases * Company parking * Flexible working hours * Option for indefinite-term contract Workplace: On-site employment
