




**Functions and Responsibilities** * Design mechanical parts and assemblies for collision components (bumpers, supports, brackets, reinforcements, metal structures). * Develop 3D models and technical drawings for manufacturing. * Perform modifications and improvements to existing designs. * Generate bills of materials (BOM) and technical specifications. * Validate designs considering manufacturing processes (cutting, bending, welding, stamping, machining). * Support material selection (steels, alloys, thicknesses). * Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement departments. * Conduct basic stress and strength analyses (FEA preferred). * Provide technical support during manufacturing and production launch. * Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. * Control and update technical documentation and engineering changes. **Technical Knowledge** * Mechanical design and technical drawing. **Software** * Interpretation of drawings and tolerances (GD&T preferred). * Metalworking manufacturing processes. * Metallic materials and treatments. * Automotive standards and regulations (preferred). * Engineering change management (ECR / ECO).
