Position: Food Purchasing Coordinator Position Objective Ensure timely procurement of food, raw materials, and supplies required for operations by negotiating optimal commercial terms with suppliers and maintaining quality, cost, and service standards. Responsibilities Coordinate the procurement of food and related products. Negotiate prices, credit terms, delivery timelines, and commercial conditions with suppliers. Identify and develop new suppliers. Track purchase orders and deliveries. Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and losses. Verify product quality and compliance with specifications. Prepare purchasing, cost, and savings reports. Analyze market trends and price fluctuations. Coordinate with warehouse, operations, and finance teams to ensure continuous supply. Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Business, Logistics, Food Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in food or perishable goods procurement. Experience in supplier negotiation. Intermediate/advanced Excel skills. ERP or procurement system experience is desirable.
