We are looking for a Product Development Engineer to join a strategic project within the automotive industry, leading the technical development of the product from engineering planning through final validation, ensuring compliance with customer standards and program goals for cost, quality, and timing. **Main Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain the master engineering schedule aligned with customer timelines and purchasing and industrialization constraints. * Ensure all tasks are executed according to the Program Management System (PMS) and established internal tools. * Prepare monthly reports for the Program Review Committee (PRC), including risks, opportunities, and action plans. * Lead product definition (CAD and specifications), ensuring geometric convergence and compliance with customer requirements. * Develop functional analyses, DFMEA, DVP (Design Validation Plan), and virtual or physical validations (CAE / prototype). * Prepare and release manufacturing documentation: work instructions, process sheets, and rework/mockup instructions. * Ensure complete product and process validation up to PPAP approval according to OEM requirements and applicable regulations. * Control tooling costs and ensure validations remain within budget. * Support program management to achieve profitability and performance targets. * Coordinate technical communication among local teams, production plants, offshore centers, suppliers, and engineering partners. * Lead PDCA activities for technical problem resolution and continuous improvement. * Validate manufacturing feasibility for purchased components and coordinate feasibility studies with sub-suppliers. * Ensure compliance with design and manufacturing standards according to best practices and global guidelines. **Requirements:** Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Design Engineering, or related field. Minimum internship experience or 1 year of experience in product development within the automotive industry. Advanced knowledge of DFMEA, DVP, PPAP, APQP, and CAD (CATIA, NX, or similar). Experience in product and process validation, geometric tolerancing, tooling costs, and technical project management. Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and effective communication with customers, plants, and suppliers. Focus on achieving cost, quality, and timing objectives.
