When you join Johnson & Johnson, your next move could mean our next breakthrough. **We are seeking top talent for the Senior Operations Technician position located in Ciudad Juarez, Independencia Plant** **Purpose:** The Operations Technician is responsible for maintaining company equipment in optimal condition to meet production requirements for excellent Quality products aligned with J&J expectations. These optimal equipment conditions will be achieved by performing appropriate preventive maintenance within required timeframes, as well as correcting failures, which must subsequently be incorporated into preventive maintenance plans. The Operations Technician is also responsible for identifying improvement opportunities to enhance equipment efficiency within their business unit and reduce equipment downtime. Such improvements must be duly reviewed, documented, and validated with support from the Process Engineer. **Key Responsibilities:** Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: The Operations Technician is responsible for maintaining, completing setups, and repairing production line equipment. They are responsible for ensuring that all unplanned maintenance work assigned to them for all production equipment is executed: * Maintaining expected Departmental GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. * Supporting manufacturing in timely repair of equipment and machinery. * Performing unplanned emergency and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with approved methods and documentation, as well as planned maintenance. * Participating in the transfer of new production lines. * Providing technical recommendations and support for new projects and the OAC program. * Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures and other safety precautions within the work area. * Ensuring compliance with Environmental Management System (EMS) responsibilities. * Following J&J and Campus Information Records Management Policies, Records Retention Program, training and education, Document Retention Notices, records cleanup, inactive records, Information Management, Vital Records, and, where applicable, vendor-related requirements. * Adhering to work schedules. * Responding to business needs. * Participating in continuous improvement of the business unit. * Other responsibilities may be assigned, and not all listed responsibilities apply. **Qualifications:** * High school diploma required.
