Senior General Accountant | Tax Strategy and Compliance Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco Col. Blanco y Cuéllar (Office relocation in 2 months to Axis Logistics Center, Nuevo Periférico Oriente) About the Position We are seeking a Senior General Accountant with solid experience in tax compliance, electronic accounting, and financial strategy development, capable of ensuring proper accounting control and compliance with tax obligations before tax authorities. Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting (degree holder) Minimum 5 years of experience as General Accountant Proficiency in electronic accounting and current tax regulations (SAT) Experience with Contpaq, SUA, IDSE, and tax platforms Experience in tax calculation, monthly and annual tax returns Knowledge of CFDI 4.0, DIOT, and tax reconciliations Analytical mindset, decision-making ability, and confidentiality What We Look for in You Strong financial analysis capability Process organization and control Strategic tax thinking Attention to detail and compliance Proactivity and operational leadership Responsibilities Supervise and ensure accurate recording of accounting entries Perform bank and tax reconciliations Prepare and submit Financial Statements Manage and validate XML (CFDI 4.0) in the accounting system Coordinate monthly and annual tax declarations Calculate and pay taxes: ISR, IMSS, INFONAVIT, SUA Control and reconcile DIOT, IDSE, and SUA Supervise payroll incidents Manage depreciation and amortization Develop and implement tax strategies Job Offer Weekly salary: $7,500 gross Statutory benefits Savings fund Weekly punctuality bonus Weekly attendance bonus Working Hours Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. -Requirements- Minimum education: Higher education - Bachelor's degree 5 years of experience Keywords: payroll clerk, controller, accountant, billing specialist, treasurer, accountant, generalist, generalist, general
