Candidates should be comfortable working in a collaborative in\-office environment and interacting closely with technical teams.** **Data Engineer Jr. (Python \& SQL)** Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco **Modality: On\-site** Type: Full\-time We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer with strong foundations in Python and SQL to join a growing technical team focused on building data\-driven solutions for analytics and machine learning environments. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with data at a technical level, automating processes, building pipelines, and improving the way information is collected, transformed, and consumed across systems. What You’ll Do * Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python * Work with SQL databases to extract, clean, and transform data * Support ETL/ELT processes and workflow automation * Validate and structure datasets for analytics and AI/ML applications * Collaborate with engineering and data teams on scalable data solutions * Troubleshoot and improve existing data processes * Help ensure data quality and reliability What We’re Looking For * Experience with Python for data processing (Pandas, NumPy) * Strong SQL fundamentals * Understanding of data pipelines or ETL workflows * Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) * Analytical mindset and problem\-solving skills * Good communication and teamwork Nice to Have * Exposure to cloud tools or AWS * Experience with APIs or automation workflows * Knowledge of machine learning data preparation * Git, Docker, or Linux familiarity Ideal Backgrounds We are open to candidates coming from: * Data Engineering * Data Science * Analytics Engineering * Backend/Data\-focused Software Engineering Recent graduates with strong internships, academic projects, or hands\-on experience are encouraged to apply.
