Job Summary: Responsible for safeguarding the company’s assets, as well as the safety of personnel and customers, by performing surveillance duties. Key Responsibilities: 1. Surveillance to ensure the security of the premises and its contents. 2. Reception of visitors and suppliers, and handling of security-related calls. 3. Inspection of security equipment and reporting of incidents. **Purpose of the Position** This role is responsible for protecting the company’s assets and ensuring the safety of personnel and customers present within the company premises. It involves carrying out surveillance functions across designated areas and performing activities that guarantee the security of the premises and all items contained therein. **Duties and Responsibilities** · Review the daily logbook for updates and record any incidents for awareness by colleagues in other departments. · Verify that staff members register their attendance punctually and accurately; record any tardiness if applicable. · Receive visitors and/or suppliers in accordance with the established registration procedure. · Monitor the company’s security status via surveillance cameras. · Conduct patrols throughout all company areas. · Respond immediately to telephone calls reporting abnormalities. · Receive packages and forward them to the responsible department, recording such actions in the logbook. · Immediately report to the shift supervisor any activities disrupting order within the company, threatening company assets, or indicating operational anomalies. · Verbally brief the incoming shift on pending matters, instructions received, observations from company personnel, and events occurring within the area; written handover shall be performed when required. · Inspect fire extinguishers. · Inspect fire hoses, first-aid equipment, security equipment, and personal protective equipment. · Inspect company vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition. · Deliver requisition files to the warehouse. **Competencies:** · Disciplined · Observant · Honest · Ethical · Service-oriented · Discreet · Adherent to instructions · Communication skills for interacting with suppliers and employees Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
