




Position Summary: Supports in-store floor operations, ensuring compliance with sales processes, merchandise stocking, and customer service to achieve operational and commercial performance metrics. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support for sales operations and merchandise stocking 2. Customer service and telephone support 3. Execution of cash register transactions and handling of returns Provide support for in-store floor operational activities by complying with AutoZone’s established operational procedures related to sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service, collaborating effectively to meet the assigned store’s operational and commercial performance metrics. * Stock merchandise on the sales floor, in overstock areas, and in delivery trucks, following applicable stocking guidelines. * Implement correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to fulfill inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to categorize merchandise and participate in opening and closing tasks, as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor, to ensure correct merchandise placement and store presentation. * Provide customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and pricing, thereby delivering excellent service reflected in successful point-of-sale transactions; handle customer telephone calls to clarify questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately execute cash register transactions involving cash or credit/debit cards and process returns in accordance with AutoZone’s cash register policy to ensure effective payment collection and transaction completion for sales closures. * Completed high school education * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
