




Position Summary: Support in-store floor operational activities, including sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service to achieve performance metrics. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist with sales and merchandise stocking 2. Provide excellent customer service and support 3. Participate in store operational tasks Support in-store floor operational activities by executing relevant operational processes for sales, merchandise stocking, and customer service as established by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to meet assigned store’s operational and commercial performance metrics. * Stock merchandise on the sales floor, in overflow areas, and in delivery trucks, following applicable stocking guidelines. * Implement correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to fulfill inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to categorize merchandise, and participate in store opening and closing tasks, as well as sales floor cleaning activities, to ensure correct merchandise placement and store presentation. * Deliver customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and pricing, thereby providing outstanding service reflected in point-of-sale transaction closures; handle customer phone calls to resolve questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately execute cash register transactions involving cash or credit/debit cards, and process returns in compliance with cash register policy to ensure effective payment collection and sales transaction completion. * Completed high school education * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
