





**Job Description** ------------------------- Ensure the proper operation of the business unit (BU) under their responsibility, guaranteeing correct customer service, operational safety, operational efficiency, and compliance with CEMEX's internal policies, rules, and regulations. **Main Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Lead and manage the Logistics personnel within the business unit and under their responsibility. * Monitor adherence to safety regulations and ensure compliance by all personnel present in the BU. * Supervise the operational costs of the BU and ensure compliance with the assigned operating expense budget. * Ensure availability of finished products within the BU. * Request (from Local Transport Coordinator or Transport and Service Manager) the necessary fleet for customer service operations related to deliveries dispatched from the BU. * Supervise and ensure daily reconciliation of finished goods inventory. * Supervise and ensure daily cash reconciliation at the BU (performed by Service and Dispatch Advisors). * Supervise and ensure that valuables are sent through institutional channels in a transparent and accurate manner. * Supervise and ensure maintenance of equipment within the BU (forklifts, benders, cutters). * Ensure and supervise order, cleanliness, and hygiene across all areas of the BU. * Ensure and maintain the official CEMEX image and colors at the BU (authorized image). * Ensure required documentation is available to justify transportation base operations before local, state, and/or federal authorities. * Promote CEMEX culture as well as respect for CEMEX policies and regulations. **Position Challenges** -------------------- * Personnel management (Service and Dispatch Advisors, Operations Supervisors, operational staff) * Ensuring the safety and integrity of all individuals within the BU * Direct interaction with customers * Management of operational expenses * Ensuring operational integrity and compliance with Mexican regulations **Required Skills and Knowledge** ------------------------------------------ General * Bachelor’s degrees: Computer Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, other Engineering fields * English Language Proficiency: B2 and above, Intermediate, Advanced Required Experience Operations Supervisor (3 years) or: * Base Manager (2 years) * Logistics and Service Administrator (4 years) * Transportation Administrator (4 years) * Demonstrate through evaluation and interview experience and skills in personnel management, team building, customer service, organization (workplace space) Required Knowledge * Microsoft Excel (intermediate) * Microsoft PowerPoint (intermediate) * Safety Academy (modules required for Warehouse Manager) Critical Competencies Competencies by Organizational Level * Customer Focus * Drive for Results * Conflict Management * Negotiation * Problem Solving * Building High-Performance Teams Functional Competencies * Decision Making * Strategic Agility * Managing Vision and Purpose **Relationships** -------------- Internal * Logistics Operations Manager / Logistics Cluster Operations Manager (Report BU performance indicators, follow up on customer service, safety, legal, supply, personnel issues, among others) * Local Transport Coordinator / Transport and Service Manager (Ensure necessary fleet allocation to meet BU delivery requirements, follow up on delivery incidents) * Operations Supervisor (Supervise their work and ensure supervision tasks are fulfilled) * Service and Dispatch Advisor (Supervise their work and ensure customer service meets CEMEX standards, proper handling, reporting, and shipment of funds) * Operational Support (Audit support and monitoring of BU operational expenses) External * Customers (Follow up on service-related matters provided at the BU) * Municipal/State Authorities (Ensure compliance with Mexican regulations regarding land use, property tax, etc.) * IMSS and/or STPS Authorities (Respond to audits or information requests) **Diversity and Inclusion at CEMEX** ----------------------------------- At CEMEX, we recognize the diversity of the world in which we live and operate.
