




The Instrumentation Technician provides technical leadership for electrical and control systems across all plant areas. This position requires substantial interaction with project engineers, systems engineers, operators, plant personnel, leadership teams, and external vendors. **Requirements:** \- Education: Degree in Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics. \- Minimum 2 years of experience. \- Availability for rotating shifts. \- Valid passport and visa. \- Required experience: * Demonstrated understanding of technology, including complexities of products, equipment, and costs. * Demonstrated understanding and experience with Wonderware InTouch, System Platform, Historian, Allen Bradley ControlLogix, PanelViews, and RSLinx. * Allen Bradley servo drives. * Communications: wireless, remote I/O, Ethernet, ControlNet, and DeviceNet. * Common field devices/instruments: VFDs, load cells, control valves, level, pressure, temperature, flow, and position sensors. * Servers, Windows operating systems, Terminal Services. \- Responsibilities: * Ensure existing and new equipment and infrastructure comply with applicable electrical codes (NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 79, etc.) and global GMI CIS standards. * Provide tactical support and conflict resolution assistance to operations and maintenance in the controls and information systems area. * Provide strategic support to engineering, operations, and maintenance to eliminate losses in the manufacturing process. * Implement PLC and HMI hardware/software and manufacturing networks. * Build and maintain strong working relationships with engineers, operations and maintenance leaders, control engineers, floor personnel, and external vendors. * Provide technical training and development for the controls team. * Administer electrical and controls architecture, including servers, PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs. * Provide input on the plant’s capital plan and proactively manage control system obsolescence. * Support plant capital projects as Controls and Electrical Systems Lead. * Manage capital projects related to electrical/controls systems. * Manage external integrators.
